Mall Show 2009
The 2009 mall show was downsized a bit but interest was high and a few good contacts were made along with hopefully
a couple of new members.
The flight simulator was a big hit with the crowd.
The flying demo on Sunday was scrubbed due to weather but people were most interested in seeing it. With luck, next
year will work out well.
TARMAC/NIPMAC glider competion
The 2009 TARMAC/NIPMAC glider competition went well despite the gale force winds by mid day.
But, 6 TARMAC members and 4 NIPMAC crew were up to the challenge.
2 rounds were flown before lunch and 1 after lunch which left Bert Dewsbury (T) in 1st.place, Con Verhulst (N)
in 2nd, and Dave McInall (T) in 3rd.
Lunch was supplied and prepared by Dan & Sharon Nadeau.
Congrats to the winners and many, many thanks to Sharon for her much appreciated contribution.
